The headaches come and go in waves, but when I am in a cluster, the pain is unbearable, completely DEBILITATING and can go on DAILY FOR UP TO 6 WEEKS. recommended I use over the counter MEDS to combat the swelling in my sinuses IN HOPES that the pain would decrease and with enough time, eventually go away.
In the meantime, when the pain was bad enough, I was PRESCIBED
Sumatriptan Succinate INJECTIONS TO NUMB THE PAIN. The injections worked but there were LIMITATIONS on dosing and a list of SIDE EFFECTS to go along with the medication which meant it could NOT be a LONG-TREM SOLUTION.
One afternoon I had a full-blown migraine that lasted for over 7 hours.
